The curriculum

Thirteen modules in two parts — foundation & specialist community care, then healthcare-facility readiness for clinical settings. Caregivers work within a defined scope under supervision. Tap any module to see its lessons.

Part one — Foundation & specialist community care

The body as a set of working systems, taught at the level a healthcare assistant needs. Skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, nervous systems and the skin — and how each connects to what you observe, record, and report.

Part two — Healthcare facility readiness

The practical days

Three specialist practical days — specialist care, facility skills, then supervised oral-medication administration practice applying the Five Rights, with individual competency sign-off for every learner. Advanced is 1 month taught, followed by a 1-week supervised internship in a partner hospital or care home, overseen by the institution staff. The internship is included in your fee, and your certificate is issued once it's completed and signed off.

Assessment & certification

A written exam plus a 5-station practical OSCE, marked against the same checklists you train on. Pass mark 70%.

  • Quizzes 15%
  • Written exam 40%
  • Practical OSCE 45%

Graduates receive a certificate anyone can verify online.
